Button

Button is a 9-year-old gray tuxedo gentleman who firmly believes life should be lived at one of two speeds: snuggles or maximum velocity. There is very little in-between.

When he's in cuddle mode, Button is everything you could want in a companion cat. Affectionate, loving, and always happy to spend time with his people, he's the kind of cat who makes it easy to forget you're doing anything other than petting him.

But then Play Mode activates.

Suddenly, Button remembers that he is, in fact, a mighty predator and not merely a professional snuggler. Toys become serious business, excitement levels increase dramatically, and occasionally his enthusiasm gets ahead of his manners. He's currently working with his foster family on remembering that human hands are not toys, but his playful spirit remains one of his most endearing qualities.

At 9 years old, Button has the perfect combination of maturity and fun. He's old enough to appreciate a good nap and a quality cuddle session, but young enough to surprise you with bursts of energy and goofy antics.

Button is also FIV-positive, which sounds much scarier than it is. FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives and make wonderful companions. They simply deserve the same thing every cat deserves: a loving home and people who see them for who they are.
